Tremon Thoroughbreds was established in 1988 with purpose built world class facilities, producing top class racehorses every year since its inception.
Tremon Stud was established in 2006 to add another dimension to our operation with the breeding and racing of pacers and trotters, and together with our hospital care division we are now able to provide total care for horses of all breeds.
Tremon Stud was sold on May 27, 2011 and this brought to an end our farm services. We will continue to race a few fillies with the view to developing champion racehorses and broodmares.

It was 1988 when Trevor Gluck purchased land sparingly used as a cattle property at Diggers Rest, and the first work began to establish Tremon Thoroughbreds and build a world class thoroughbred nursery.
Initially established as Tremon Thoroughbreds and in 2006 as Tremon Stud, everything has been purpose built to provide the best possible environment to raise champion racehorses. We have created a world class operation, with all the best facilities, excellent purpose built stables and veterinary rooms, quality pastures and dedicated staff to ensure that all foals raised are given every opportunity to fulfill their potential as champion racehorses.
Tremon Stud is situated at Diggers Rest, Victoria, Australia, only 40 kilometres (about 35 minutes) north from the Melbourne CBD and only about 20 minutes from Melbourne Tullamarine Airport.

Located in the heart of Victoria's "Thoroughbred Country", Tremon Stud comprises 200 acres of prime horse country, situated in an ideal valley to raise future champion racehorses, with lush pastures on undulating fertile volcanic hills. The stud is only a short distance from the city of Melbourne, the major towns of Melton and Sunbury, the major thoroughbred racecourses Flemington and Moonee Valley, the major harness racing training centres located in the Shire of Melton, the many harness racing tracks including Moonee Valley, Geelong, Bendigo, Ballarat, Kilmore and the William Inglis, Melbourne sales yards.
Tremon Stud is a boutique thoroughbred breeding farm. We currently stand no stallions, preferring to act as a private broodmare and agistment farm, principally for Tremon Stud's own mares and progeny and a small number of outside clients with complimentary top quality bloodstock.
Tremon Stud's establishment in Victoria ensures that all progeny are qualified for the world's richest incentive bonus scheme in SUPER VOBIS, assuring added value to purchasers of progeny raised by us. SUPER VOBIS bonuses are regularly won by horses bred at Tremon Stud, and the stud's success as a breeder of quality racehorses is reflected in our position as the third leading recipient of SUPER VOBIS nominators bonuses for the 1996/97 racing season, remarkably with only 15 mares bred, and more remarkably after only selling our first commercial crop of yearlings in 1995.
Tremon Stud's establishment in Victoria also ensures that all harness progeny are qualified for the world's richest harness incentive bonus scheme in VICBRED, assuring added value to purchasers of progeny raised by us.
Tremon Stud's progeny will be eligible for the rich Australasian Breeders Crown - the premier juvenile harness racing series in the Southern Hemisphere.
Each year, Tremon Stud's thoroughbred and harness broodmares are bred to a selection of the best stallions in Australia, with subsequent yearlings representing some of the world's greatest bloodlines, attracting buyers from the best national and international markets. For more information about the progeny we have for offer, click here.
Tremon Stud's mares represent the best available bloodlines, presenting an extremely strong broodmare line up. We are continuing to upgrade our facilities and bloodlines, placing us in a forward position to influence the future of Australian thoroughbred and harness racing
At Tremon Thoroughbreds we are establishing ourselves as reliable breeders of quality racehorses, with an enviable winners to foals ratio of over 80%, providing quality racehorses to not only the Australian market, but also to Asia, Hong Kong, and South Africa.
The first of Tremon Stud's harness racing progeny are due to grace racetracks in 2007.
Tremon Stud provides a specialized rehabilitation service for injured horses, offering both pre and post operative care to horses of all breeds - racing, breeding and performance horses.
For the 2006 breeding season, Tremon
Stud has expanded its facilities to act as an artificial insemination
(AI) service centre to service the needs of Standardbred mares located in the
southern region of Victoria. A walk-on facility has been established for both
chilled and frozen semen.
