ABOUT TREMON
Last Updated December 10, 2015

Tremon Thoroughbreds was established in 1988 with purpose built world class facilities, producing top class racehorses every year.

Tremon Stud was established in 2006 to add another dimension to our operation with the breeding and racing of pacers and trotters, and together with our hospital care division we were able to provide total care for horses of all breeds.

Tremon Stud farm property was sold on May 27, 2011 and this brought to an end our farm services. We continue to race a few fillies with the view to developing champion racehorses and broodmares. We are confident our additional range of services will be welcomed by all participants in our industry.

TREMON BACKGROUND

It was 1988 when Trevor Gluck purchased land sparingly used as a cattle property at Diggers Rest, and the first work began to establish Tremon Thoroughbreds and build a world class thoroughbred nursery.

Initially established as Tremon Thoroughbreds and in 2006 as Tremon Stud, everything was purpose built to provide the best possible environment to raise champion racehorses. We created a world class operation, with all the best facilities, excellent purpose built stables and veterinary rooms, quality pastures and dedicated staff to ensure that all foals raised were given every opportunity to fulfill their potential as champion racehorses.

Located in the heart of Victoria's "Thoroughbred Country", Tremon Stud comprised 200 acres of prime horse country, situated in an ideal valley to raise future champion racehorses, with lush pastures on undulating fertile volcanic hills. The stud was only a short distance from the city of Melbourne, the major towns of Melton and Sunbury, the major thoroughbred racecourses Flemington and Moonee Valley, the major harness racing training centres located in the Shire of Melton, the many harness racing tracks including Moonee Valley, Geelong, Bendigo, Ballarat, Kilmore and the William Inglis, Melbourne sales yards.

Tremon Stud was a boutique thoroughbred breeding farm, standing no stallions, preferring to act as a private broodmare and agistment farm, principally for Tremon Stud's own mares and progeny and a small number of outside clients with complimentary top quality bloodstock.

At Tremon Thoroughbreds we established ourselves as reliable breeders of quality racehorses, with an enviable winners to foals ratio of over 80%, providing quality racehorses to not only the Australian market, but also to Asia, Hong Kong, and South Africa.

We have re-established ourselves in 2015, with son Rodney Gluck joining the Tremon Stud team.We have clients wishing to secure top line thoroughbred fillies and broodmares. We are now firmly established as specializing in the procurement and sale of top class race fillies and broodmares and we can guarantee a fast, efficient and confidential top end sale. We are also booking stallion service nominations to all Australian and New Zealand stallions.
